Dr. Dorit Eldar is a B.A. Graduate of in humanities and an M.D. graduate of Tel Aviv University in Israel. She is currently the Head of Foreign Affairs and the Medical and Professional Writing Department in BioForum Applied Knowledge Center.

Dr. Eldar has more than 15 years of experience in writing, editing and translating professional material. Prior to her joining Bioforum she was an administrative physician, in the Quality Unit of Maccabi Health Services. There, she was a member of a strategic development team designed to improve the quality of health care and was responsible for writing, editing and translating professional material in different formats for distribution: papers, presentations, literature reviews and more.

Before that, Dr. Eldar established and managed the Israeli Medical Knowledge Center of Bristol-Myers Squibb, a leading international pharmaceutical company and served as Chief Editor of its Israeli Newsletter. The Israeli Medical Knowledge, as part of the Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Trials departments, distributed medical information, including marketed products brochures, informed consents, protocols, medical based answers to physicians and pharmacists and safety information. This position required deep understanding of the work done by various departments: marketing, regulatory affairs and clinical trials, as well as daily communication with the company’s management in USA.

Dr. Eldar works with pharmaceutical companies, biotech and medical device companies, start-ups, medical centers, laboratories and the Ministry of Health.
