Dr. David Lansky owns and operates Lansky Consulting, LLC, an independent statistical consulting and training service. Dr. Lansky is also a member of two working groups at the United States Pharmacopeia, one revising USP <111> the analysis of bioassay data, and another working to develop guidelines for bioassay validation. <>Prior to operating Lansky Consulting, LLC, Dr. Lansky was a statistician at Cereon Genomics (a division of Monsanto) where he worked on design and analysis of microarray and reverse genetics experiments (2000-2002). <>Dr. Lansky was previously a consulting statistician at Pharmacia/Monsanto/Searle (now Pfizer) where he worked on biological assay design and analysis, viral population dynamics models, assay development and validation, stability, and diagnostic tests, among other topics (1992-2000). He has been teaching short courses on bioassay development and validation for the last ten years. <>He holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Biometry from Cornell University, an M.S. in Entomology from Cornell University, and a B.S. in Botany from San Francisco State University.
